Leading Brands of Spain Forum recognize their partners’ members in their twentieth anniversary

The twentieth anniversary of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE) took place on 23 May with an event at the Prado Museum, where its founding partners, including Keraben Grupo, were distinguished for their role in setting up the Forum.

The Leading Brands of Spain Forum is a public-private partnership between the leading Spanish brands in their respective sectors and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation; the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism; the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX); the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM); the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, and the Secretaries of State for Tourism and Global Spain.

Freixenet, Pastas Gallo, Idilia Foods, Lladró, Familia Torres, Adolfo Domínguez, Inditex, Agrolimen, Borges, Puig and Keraben, shared the same vision about economy and company and established, twenty years ago, the forum foundations. Internationalization, differentiation and value of the brand, the importance of the Spain brand as a guarantee of international competitiveness and, above all, the union between companies and public administration.

To mark its twenty-year history, the Forum recognized the founding partners’ role as first ambassadors of the Espain brand. The event also highlighted the lead, that twenty years ago, the brands had in order to start up the forum, inciting the internationalization as a key driver for improving the competitiveness of the Spanish economy, as well as the importance of public-private partnerships, which is the hallmark of the Forum.

The event also included a round table at which the participants discussed the importance of brands, how they work as a differentiating factor against competitors, public-private partnerships, talent management and how to incorporate it in the corporate culture, the impact on companies of global situations such as Brexit, the Asian boom, US protectionism, country brand images and internationalization, amongst other topics.
